I also went to Tad's website and saw all the pictures of Tad and Charles's big
adventure. If Charles had been in Charge, he should have taken the saw from
Tad. I almost had a heart attack. Why? Because the bug they sawed in half was
an old metal dash. It was white with pop out windows just like my 67. I had to
run down to the garage and make sure it was ok. This should be put in a
website of what not to do to a bug. These old metal dash bugs are getting
harder to find and I am sure someone could have brought it back to it's former
glory. Sorry to be so hard on you Tad but I just hate to see this happen to a
bug. Hopefully your kit car will turn out well and at least the pan can enjoy
life in one piece. One more goes to the Vw heaven
