Well, I can't say for sure on a superbeetly, but I just removed the
body from my 66. I am young (18) and stupid (Hey, I just removed the
body from a car :) so this might not be the best plan for everyone. I
did take pictures, and I have some advice:

When I did it, one friend assisted on one Friday afternoon (about 6
hours) and we removed all of the bolts, one bumper, one door and one
fender. Everything had been removed already. By the time we were
done the two of us could pick up the body, but I didn't quite have a
place to put it yet, so we quickly set it right back down.

Sunday afternoon we decided to remove the body. We were so sore from
the time spent on friday removing the bolts that we had to get another
person to assist us in listing it. Since the body was severly rusted
and had been in both front and rear end collisions I decided to build
a kit car out of this one. That is why I cut the body in half.

You should have seen the looks on the faces of the people at the dump
"Where is the rest of that there caaar?"

Soon I will have a page up, but for now, just enjoy the pictures.
